The one-day Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Trainer Course has been designed for inpatient or ambulatory care oncology nurses who
care for patients receiving Chemotherapy and Biotherapy treatments. Principles of Chemotherapy and Biotherapy, new
Chemotherapy and Biotherapy treatment modalities, and management of side effects are among the course key topics.
The Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Trainer Course will address a review of content that will be presented in the
Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course and the logistics of presenting this ONS Provided Course.
The fee for the Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Trainer Course is $675. This fee includes course registration and course
materials including the required textbook and teaching materials that you will use to present the course to others.
A CD-ROM that includes all slides and speakers notes for the full two-day course is included.
Eligibility criteria:
- Current ONS Member
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years experience administering chemotherapy
- Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a health related field
- Current ONS Cancer Chemotherapy Provider Card
- Demonstrated experience presenting professional nursing educational content
- Oncology specialty certification, including
any of the following: OCN®, AOCN®, CPON®,
AOCNP, AOCNS.
