Genetics Online Education Series

Introducing the Genetics Online Education Series.

As a nurse in the emerging healthcare environment, a basic foundation in genetics is no longer an option-it is a necessity. Do you have a basic foundation in genetics? Get the information you need from the Genetics Online Education Series!

The Genetics Online Education Series consists of six separate courses that are designed to provide participants with an introduction to genetics, including DNA structure and function, DNA mutations and how we repair DNA damage, chromosome abnormalities, inheritance patterns of diseases including complex diseases, and gene regulation, as well as covering the genetic basis of cancer, pharmacogenetics, recombinant DNA technologies and its use, genetic testing, and genetic-based therapies.

All students interested in this course are advised to review the Technical Requirements before purchasing the course.
