ONS Foundation Interdisciplinary Multi-Site Research Training Webcast

Program Overview
Join us for this in-depth webcast, based on live presentations from the 2006 ONS Foundation Interdisciplinary Multi-Site Research Training Program! You will learn about the National Cancer Institute (NCI) cooperative group structure, research within the NCI cooperative groups, and developing a research concept for the NCI cooperative groups.

This webcast explores the role of nurse scientists in NCI cooperative group research, including symptom management, burden of care, and quality of life studies. Leading nurse scientists and other scientists active in NCI cooperative groups share their expertise on how to more effectively and efficiently contribute to the science of cooperative groups. Faculty members include representatives from NCI cooperative groups, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), NCI, NCI Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

We invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to LISTEN to the lectures and VIEW the slides from select sessions from this dynamic conference. Nurses interested in receiving CE credit for these sessions must listen to and view the entire webcast and then complete the evaluation. There is no fee for this free CE opportunity. After successful completion of the evaluation, you will be sent a CE certificate for your records and receive continuing education credit!
